Landscape Maintenance foreman wanted to maintain parks, public spaces and several condominium associations in the Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
Must have extensive experience with all mowing and equipment and other maintenance equipment.
Driver license is required to drive truck, trailer and equipment.
Full-Time employment with benefits. Starting rate $25.00 – $27.00/hr
Job Requirements:
- Perform landscape maintenance duties including pruning, weeding and mowing;
- Perform landscape installation duties including mulching, clearing, and planting;
- Perform turf maintenance duties including aeration, over-seeding, fertilization and sod installation/replacement;
- Operate landscape and snow removal equipment including aerator, hydro-seeder, tractor, and snow plow;
- Perform tree removal;
- Properly and effectively identify plants and weeds to ensure proper landscaping;
- Employ proper planting technique when mulching and planting;
- Employ proper safety precautions when pruning;
- Clean all grounds keeping equipment and securely and safely stores all items;
- Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines; Follow company and department safety, security, and loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment;
- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds,
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time,
- Must be able to walk for prolonged periods of time,
- Must be able to reach bend, stoop and kneel,
- Must be able to work occasional weekends,
- Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
